What is a Stretch Wrap Machine?

A stretch wrap machine, also called a pallet wrapper or stretch wrapper, applies stretch film to products for packaging. We offer many models online and others by request.

Turntable stretch wrap machines are the most common. They rotate the goods as film wraps around them. Our stock machines cover 95% of pallets shipped, and we also provide custom builds to meet specific needs.

How Does a Stretch Wrapper Work?

Turntable stretch wrappers have a rotating platform that spins the product while stretch film wraps around it. These machines are cost-effective and can pay for themselves quickly. They increase wrapping speed and free employees for other tasks. Powered stretching heads ensure consistent maximum film stretch, optimizing film use and reducing costs and waste. The process works as follows:

Place the pallet load on the turntable and tie the film to it.
A photo eye senses the pallet load.
The operator presses start to begin wrapping.
The film carriage moves up and down the pallet, stretching the film as the turntable rotates.
When finished, the turntable returns home, and the operator cuts and attaches the film end to the pallet.
