Butcher & Freezer Paper Information

Butcher paper and freezer paper are commonly grouped together but are very different products. Butcher paper is generally white in color and made from Kraft pulp. Butcher paper is an inexpensive paper used for a variety of purposes. Freezer paper is also commonly a white paper on a roll. Freezer paper is polyethylene coated on one side to provide extra strength when wet.

Butcher Paper rolls and freezer paper rolls are used for multiple uses in a variety of industries. Everything from use in deli's and butcher shops to use as disposable table covers. Both our butcher paper and our freezer paper are FDA approved and made from quality virgin paper.

*Freezer Paper- The freezer paper is a bleached paper that is polyethylene coated and ideal for moist environments. The polyethylene coating helps to make the freezer paper stronger and moisture resistant. Many companies use freezer paper with a plastic wrap for long term freezer storage. All of our freezer paper rolls come in 1100 ft. length rolls with a 40 lb. paperweight. Roll widths range from 15 inches up to 48 inches.

*Butcher Paper- The butcher paper offers a 40# paperweight that is versatile for a variety of applications. Companies use butcher paper rolls for cold-cut storage and meat wrapping. All of our butcher paper rolls come in 1000 ft. length rolls and 40 lb. paperweight. Widths of butcher paper rolls range from 12 inches up to 60 inches.
