What's New at U.S. Packaging & Wrapping For 2017
As 2016 comes to an end, we want to take the time to thank our customers for the opportunity to serve them. We have over a 65% customer retention rate and several customers we have gotten to know over several years. Without our customers, we would not be able to make the advancements and have the continued growth we have experienced for a number of years.
For 2017 we are rolling out several changes to help improve our customer experience and offerings. The major change that makes all of this possible is our recent move to our new location. Our new facility on 11 acres of land offers room for further growth.
Once the move is complete and the facility is ready, we will be posting more pictures. The new move is going to offer the ability to offer new services and products we were previously unable to offer.
One of our most exciting new offerings is contract packaging. For years we have offered packaging materials and packaging machines to customers around the United States. Weekly we get several calls from potential customers that request contract packaging.
Many people only wrap a few hundred or a few thousand products annually. They cannot justify the cost of packaging materials, machines, and labor costs. They are wanting someone to quickly package the products to be shelf ready for retail stores.
We are introducing 2 new fully automated packaging lines to do just that. The new packaging lines will enable us to package over 60,000 products per day. Our goal is to offer a 48-hour turn around from the time the products arrive at our facility until they ship out.
Once our lines are ready we will be running special promotions and offers for contract packaging. The full announcement and details are expected by March of 2017.
Another service we are aiming to have complete by March of 2017 is a virtual showroom. The virtual showroom will offer customers the ability to virtually walk through and view each machine within the showroom. Once the customer finds the machine they are wanting, with the click of a button, videos will be made available with a full rotating 360-degree view of each machine.
We intend the virtual showroom to help ease new customers concerns about machines and answer questions that can be addressed with detailed views of each machine. As always, customers will be able to send products to be packaged with machines in the showroom.
We will also be rolling out a brand new website design for easier navigation. The new design will keep the same familiar layout our customers have learned with enhanced images and a top-notch search bar. Customers will be able to quickly search for products and machines when needed.
We are excited about the many changes that are coming in 2017. We are always open to suggestions from our customers for changes and requests.
