Our large reclosable bags are considered any bags seven inches and wider. Large bags are used to store dry good products as well as liquids. Our large reclosable bags are used for industrial and food packaging.

All large bags are FDA approved for direct food contact. Below is a list of common large ziplock bag sizes.

7"x8" = 1 quart

8"x10" = 1/2 gallon

10"x12" = 1 gallon

13"x15" = 2 gallon

All large bags are available in 2, 4, and 6 mil thicknesses. The thickness of the bag is important when determining what products will be placed inside the bag. A two mil thickness is a standard thickness comparable to most residential-use ziplock bags. The four mil thickness is considered a heavy-duty bag. It offers great puncture resistance and strength. The six mil thickness is considered an extra heavy duty strength. This strength is great for liquids and other heavy objects.
