What is a Packaging Conveyor?

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association of the United States defines a conveyor as a horizontal, inclined, or vertical device for moving or transporting bulk materials or objects in a path predetermined by the device's design.

Principally, a conveyor is a device to move objects from one location to another by gravity or with external power. At U.S. Packaging & Wrapping, we sell gravity conveyors and motorized conveyors.

The integration of an exit conveyor for packaging machines is the primary use of packaging conveyor products. Although our conveyors can be used for a variety of different purposes, product size, weight, and shape should be considered when choosing a conveyor.

Rotary Conveyors

Our Rotary Conveyors, also known as lazy Susan conveyors, are ideal for various packaging applications. When paired with a shrink tunnel, they allow workers to efficiently package and sort wrapped products at the exit. Available in 36", 48", and 60" diameters. All models operate on 110V.

Skate Wheel Conveyors are versatile and widely used in various applications. The accordion-style design allows them to expand and contract, making them adaptable to different spaces.

We offer three sizes, starting with a 4'-16' conveyor, perfect for handling a range of products. They’re commonly used as exit conveyors for shrink wrap machines and in many warehouse and industrial settings.

180 Degree Gravity Conveyor

Our Gravity Roller conveyors feature sturdy stainless steel rollers, supported by durable aluminum legs and casters, capable of holding up to 200 lbs. per linear foot. Many businesses utilize these conveyors as exit systems for various shrink wrap machines.

The 180° gravity roller conveyor efficiently returns finished products to the operator, making it an ideal companion for our TL-1519 or TL-1622 shrink wrap combo systems. One operator can easily seal film and package products while remaining stationary.

Straight Gravity Roller Coveyor

We also offer Straight Gravity Roller conveyors in 3 ft. and 6 ft. lengths, perfect for use with shrink tunnels as exit conveyors. The ideal length depends on the size of the products being wrapped and your production speed.
