The wide and versatile 24 inch I bar shrink wrap system can package book stacks, picture frames, or ever smaller cosmetic products. The large shrink system is recommended for products up to 23.5 inches wide. Each system includes a 22-inch wide roll of either PVC or Polyolefin shrink film. The polyolefin shrink film is softer after heat is applied and is required for any direct food contact. The PVC film shrinks with less heat and offers a strong and durable package for retail and industrial applications. After all the items are removed from the box, place the shrink film roll on the film rack. The material is a centerfold and will need to be opened with the top layer on top of the film separator and the bottom layer below the separator bar. Plug in the machine, pull the film from the rack and make the first seal with no product inserted into the wrap. After a good initial seal, insert items into the shrink wrap and seal the back side of the product leaving approximately one-half inch of space between the seal and the edge of the product.

Once that seal is made, rotate the product and make the final seal. After the open sides are sealed, plug in the sealer to the plug found on the machine and begin on the low setting approximately 6-10 inches from the shrink wrap. Keep the gun moving, never holding it in one place. The finished product should be free of holes and concealed within the shrink film.

Each system comes with a replacement seal wire kit. This system is not recommended for any shrink material thicker than two mils. Replacement parts and service are available with the purchase of a machine from U.S. Packaging & Wrapping.
