Shrink Wrap System Information

Our shrink wrap systems are designed and put together for beginning shrink wrap users. They offer everything needed to begin your shrink wrap operation.

All of our shrink wrap systems come with an impulse sealer for a sealing element. Impulse sealers are an excellent option for start-up operations not expecting to do a large amount of output. It is important to choose the right size of impulse sealer for the size of the film you will be sealing. Always choose an impulse sealer that will fit the largest objects you will be sealing.

All shrink wrap systems come with a two-speed heat gun for the heat source to shrink the film. The two-speed heat gun offers two adjustable speeds for shrinking. Be sure to adjust the heat gun distance from the film when initially applying heat. This will give you an idea of the proper distance to hold the heat gun from the film for quick and efficient sealing.

The last item included in our shrink wrap systems is a variety of heat shrink wrap materials of your choice. The centerfold shrink wrap is a roll of shrink wrap folded in half lengthways, then rolled onto a roll. The crease in the fold is where you place the product to be shrunk. Once the product is placed into the fold crease, seal all open sides, then apply heat with the heat gun.

Be sure to have proper ventilation when sealing and applying heat to the PVC shrink film. The chloride found in the PVC can be dangerous if inhaled in large amounts.
