Machine Stretch Film
Machine stretch film rolls can range from 20 to 80 inches wide. Aside from the roll being wider than a standard eighteen-inch hand-stretch film, it is also longer. Traditional machine rolls are 5,000 ft., with some rolls having up to 9,000 ft. of film.
Another benefit of machine stretch film rolls over hand rolls is the stretch rate. Machine-stretch film rolls can have a stretch rate of over 250%. With maximum stretch-wrap machine tension, a 5,000-ft roll can stretch to over 17,000 ft, reducing waste and cost.

All the rolls listed in the chart are authentic gauged machine stretch film rolls. Meaning they will mic out to the stated gauge. Other equivalent machine rolls can have standard gauged film load retention but not puncture resistance.
These rolls have a premium stretch rate, load retention, and puncture resistance. The five-layer cast construction allows users to reduce thickness while maintaining the same load stability. They are the best of our cast machine stretch film rolls; blown machine stretch wrap provides the best puncture resistance if needed.
Upon arrival, be sure the roll is properly threaded onto the stretch film machine. If the device has a pre-stretch head, you should be able to attain a 250% stretch rate. With a machine tension knob, a 200% stretch rate is still possible.
There is free shipping and discounted pricing for pallet orders of machine stretch film rolls. Standard-sized machine rolls come in 40 rolls per pallet. Visit our stretch film reference library to learn more about stretch film and stretch film machines.
