Bar sealers use a bar to lower and press down on shrink wrap plastics. Opposite the hot sealer is a bumper area that presses against the shrink film and sealing wire to create a complete seal and closure. The heating wire becomes hot with the bar makes contact with a switch once lowered. Unlike constant heat sealers, impulse sealers only heat once a contact switch is triggered.

This 13” I bar shrink wrap system features a thirteen inch sealing wire for sealing smaller products. The kit includes everything needed to begin shrink wrapping.

One Roll of 12”x500’x75 Shrink Film (PVC or Polyolefin Option)
One Two Speed Heat Gun

Each bar sealer system offers the choice of PVC or Polyolefin shrink wrap. The PVC offers a faster shrink time, but the material can become hard and brittle after applying heat. POF or polyolefin shrink film is food safe and softer to the touch after heated. Replacement rolls of PVC come in 500’ rolls or 2000’ rolls. For polyolefin rolls, the replacement 75 gauge thickness is 3500’. All 13 inch I bar sealers come with a spare wire replacement kit. Extended warranties are available with additional charges upon request.
